Omid Shamim was born and raised in Las Vegas. Before law, he spent nearly a decade in the local service industry and taught English in South Korea, experiences that shaped his belief that everyone deserves to be heard and treated with dignity.
Today, Omid represents injured plaintiffs and workers across Nevada in personal injury and workers compensation matters. He earned his B.S. from the University of Nevada, Reno, and his J.D. from Albany Law School, where his paper on copyright and AI-generative works won 2nd place in the New York Intellectual Property Law Association writing competition.
Omid is a member of the Nevada Justice Association and the Clark County Bar Association.
